About
From the choir loft to the songbook.
Divine Agbana is a singer-songwriter who writes the whole song himself: the poem first, then the melody, then the arrangement around it.
He found his voice singing in a church choir and later trained it formally. He taught himself guitar and plays piano to accompany his singing. In 2025 he started releasing music officially, and has put out six songs since. Each one began on a page before it ever reached an instrument.
The goal is simple and big: to play for thousands of people who hear themselves in his songs.

How a song gets made
Poem. Melody. Arrangement.
- STAGE 1 · WORDS
The poem
Every song starts as writing. A line, a memory, a feeling put into words before there's any music.
- STAGE 2 · VOICE
The melody
The words get sung until a tune fits them. The phrasing comes from what the lyric needs to say.
- STAGE 3 · BAND
The arrangement
Guitar, piano, and the friends who play everything else. The song gets built out around the voice.
